About our Club
The Olde Charlestowne Sertoma Club meets on the Fourth Wednesday of
every month. Our
meetings are held at The Town & Country Inn on Savannah Highway near
the Interstate 526 interchange (across from Ruby Tuesday's).
The Club has a Social gathering time from 6:00 p.m. till 6:30 p.m.
and then gathers at the buffet.
The club has as its major Fund-Raiser a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BARBECUE contest, held in March each year. The named sponsor for this fundraiser is PUBLIX SUPER MARKETS CHARITIES.
Our membership consists of approximately 50 members, both men and women, who care about making life a little better for our community and our city's children.
Any person who is interested in giving back to the community is welcome, and may visit any of the Club meetings to see if this is a Service Club you can be involved with.
Our Mission Statement: To enhance the lives of those less fortunate, both children and adults. Our goal is to make life worthwhile for those in need to have a better life and to help make our City Parks a place where all families have the opportunity to share the outdoors with their children to play in a safe, clean, and beautiful environment.
